Lauren Ambler joined Sullivan Stolier Schulze in 2010 and focuses her practice on regulatory and operational matters affecting health care providers, with a particular emphasis on hospital licensure and Medicare enrollment. She regularly advises hospitals and other providers on initial enrollment, revalidation, and changes of ownership (CHOWs) and changes of information (CHOIs), guiding clients through complex state and federal regulatory requirements and ensuring continuity of operations and reimbursement. Lauren also assists with navigating survey and certification issues, coordinating with licensing agencies, and addressing compliance matters that arise in connection with ownership changes and facility transitions.
Lauren received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she was a member of the Loyola Law Review (2008–2010) and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Birmingham-Southern College. She has also co-authored “What Hospitals Should Know about the OIG 2011 Work Plan,” published in the EQ Health Solutions Newsletter.
